Suzuki Recorded 7,902 Units Car Sales in September

THROUGH September 2022 PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) managed to record an increase in retail sales of four-wheeled vehicles by 7% compared to the same month last year, namely September 2021. Compared to the previous month, Suzuki's retail sales figure also rose by 1%.

Interestingly enough, Suzuki's retail sales throughout September 2022 were the highest achievement during the January-September 2022 period, with a total of 7,902 units.

According to Assistant to Department Head 4W Sales SIS Randy R Murdoko, throughout September Suzuki's retail sales increased in both the passenger car and light commercial car categories.

"In the passenger car category itself, Suzuki's retail sales have increased by 30% compared to September 2021. Meanwhile, when compared to the previous month, namely August 2022, Suzuki's retail sales of passenger cars have increased by 3%," said Randy, Friday (21/10).

During the period from January to September 2022, Suzuki's retail and whole sales were dominated by the light commercial car category by 61% and passenger cars by 39%. New Carry became the first contributor with 61% contribution, followed by XL7 with 18% and All New Ertiga Hybrid with 12% contribution.

Seeing the All New Ertiga Hybrid, which was just launched in June (10/6) and then becoming one of the biggest contributors to Suzuki's retail sales, proves that the first LMPV Hybrid in Indonesia has received a positive response from the public.

This is supported by many factors from the update of the All New Ertiga Hybrid which already uses electrification technology, namely Suzuki Smart Hybrid Technology and is equipped with various advanced features that make the All New Ertiga Hybrid a more efficient and environmentally friendly vehicle.

"This increase in sales certainly cannot be separated from the role of Suzuki's loyal customers. Especially with their trust in the All New Ertiga Hybrid, which has used the latest technology, namely the Suzuki Smart Hybrid," added Randy.
