CIMB Niaga's Third Quarter 2022 Net Profit Grows 23.89%
PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (CIMB Niaga) recorded a net profit of IDR 3.89 trillion as of September 2022 or grew 23.89% year on year (yoy) from the previous IDR 3.14 trillion in the same period last year. Operating income was recorded at Rp2.31 trillion, up 20.31% yoy from the previous Rp1.92 trillion in the same period last year. Meanwhile, the number of loans disbursed reached Rp194.7 trillion, derived from growth in the Corporate Banking business by 12.8% yoy, Consumer Banking by 14.7% yoy. Mortgages at 8.6% yoy, KPM at 52.4% yoy, and contributions from its subsidiary, PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance. The growth of bank credit coded as BNGA shares was balanced by maintained credit quality with gross non-performing loans (NPLs) at the level of 3.55% and net NPLs at 0.94%.
