After covering many songs, Safira finally released her own single entitled “I Wanna Be Loved”. This meaningful song was written by Safira in the midst of her activities as a medical student.

The song “I Wanna Be Loved” was inspired by the story of a teenager who couldn’t choose her life until she arrived in this world armed with circumstances she couldn’t change. The young girl was met by Safira while following her mother in social activities with marginalized groups. Safira caught the girl’s implied message that she just wanted to be loved.

“I feel this song also illustrates that I or whoever they hope and deserve love like other humans. I don’t want to lose the love of those around me. That’s why, I try with all my heart to give the best or be the best that I can. I want everyone to feel they are loved, cared for and appreciated as they should be,” said Safira in Jakarta.

Safira has been studying vocal techniques since junior high school. He invited Gatz, an arranger who is used to dealing with Indonesian divas. Safira wants “I Wanna Be Loved” to also represent the marginalized and people who feel abandoned because of discrimination from the surrounding community.

“I feel this song also illustrates that I or whoever they hope and deserve love like other humans. I don’t want to lose the love of the people around me. That’s why I always try with all my heart to give the best,” he explained.

Not only releasing songs, Safira also initiated a movement I Wanna Be Loved program that aims to share happiness with those in need. Safira doesn’t want to fight alone in this I Wanna Be Loved program. He invites all industry players, music lovers to join this movement.

“You don’t have to share money, because sometimes just singing together can make them happy,” he said.
