Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria asked the public to always have a good attitude regarding the implementation of Formula E on Wednesday (7/9/2022). DKI Governor Anies Baswedan will undergo an examination related to the implementation of Formula E by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
“Having a good attitude towards the DKI Jakarta Government who implements Formula E,” said Riza Patria, who was met after attending a plenary meeting at the DKI DPRD Building, Tuesday (6/9/2022).
Not only to Anies and the DKI Provincial Government, good prejudice must also be applied to the KPK, which is currently conducting an investigation regarding the implementation of the electric car racing event. Riza added that on Sunday (4/9/2022) Anies Baswedan had informed himself that the anti-corruption agency would investigate.
“The governor also told me that Mr Anies was summoned on Wednesday (7/9/2022) and he also said he would attend,” said Riza.
Met on a separate occasion, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan revealed that he did not have special preparations ahead of being examined by the KPK regarding the implementation of Formula E.
Previously, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sent a summons to the number one person in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to be questioned about the implementation of the electric car racing event. “I received the KPK summons on Wednesday, September 7 morning,” said Anies while attending the cutting of aerial cables for utility projects in Mampang Prapatan, Jakarta, Monday (5/9/2022).
Anies confirmed that he would come to fulfill the summons to provide information regarding Formula E. In addition, Anies emphasized that there was no information in the summons so he intended only to fulfill the summons and the rest would be explained after the meeting.
“God willing, I will come and will help to make things clearer,” he continued.
