Indonesian Warrior Volunteer: Andika worthy of consideration as a presidential candidate

The head of the Indonesian Warriors' Volunteer, Hendrawan Saragi, said that the TNI Commander, General TNI Andika Perkasa, was worthy of being counted as a presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election contestation.

''There is substantial progress, increasing electability. And this is a momentum that shows that the hearts and hearts of some Indonesian people really want General TNI Andika Perkasa to be an oresident candidate," said Saragi in a statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday (26/10).

He believes the general's electability will continue to rise. Based on the results of the Kompas R&D survey, Perkasa is included as a candidate, although it is still under other figures including Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto, and Anies Baswedan.

He also appreciated the Indonesian people who actively opened space for alternative figures for presidential candidates outside the three names who have often topped surveys of various institutions. "The support of all has helped create a great powerhouse for alternative presidential candidates 2024-2029 that will provide freshness," he said.

Indonesian Warrior Volunteers, he said, will continue to move and are also motivated by Andika Perkasa's electability. "We will continue to recruit volunteers in many areas and do it with a happy heart," he said.

Saragi said the plans to be carried out by the Indonesian Warrior Warriors were to further introduce the general to the public. "What is the effort of the Indonesian Warriors is that in 2023 General Andika Perkasa will be increasingly trusted by the Indonesian people," he said.
