The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) together with the State Savings Bank (BTN) held the 2022 Indonesia Properti Expo (IPEX) housing exhibition. The exhibition was held at JCC Senayan Jakarta from 13 to 21 August 2022.
This exhibition was attended by 55 subsidized and commercial housing developers and featured 315 housing projects in the Greater Jakarta area and other big cities such as Bandung and Surabaya. The selling price of the properties that will be marketed during this exhibition is from IDR 168 million to billions.
“I am officially opening the Indonesia Properti Expo 2022 event. The implementation of IPEX 2022 is a series of commemorations of the National Housing Day (Hapernas) which is commemorated every August 25,” said Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR Iwan Suprijanto when opening the exhibition, Saturday, August 14, 2022.
He hopes that this event can be a shared reflection to increase efforts and synergies in realizing the provision of livable and affordable housing for all levels of society, especially Low-Income Communities (MBR).
“Appreciation is given to BTN as a bank that has become a strategic partner of the Government in order to encourage access to affordable housing finance for MBR,” he explained.
This is a form of real banking support in encouraging the achievement of the One Million Houses Program as well as an accelerator for the creation of a National Economic Recovery.
“In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the property sector is a sector that is still growing positively. The property sector has a multiplier effect that can revive 174 industrial sub-sectors.

In addition, BTN always carries out various innovations in facilitating subsidized housing financing assistance for all levels of society. The KPR program is offered for millennial generation groups and micro credit for low-income groups with non-fixed income.
BTN as the bank with the largest number of subsidized mortgage loans with a total distribution of Rp7.9 trillion or as many as 71,209 housing units.
“I hope that with this exhibition the property market in Indonesia can grow and continue to increase in the future and can provide opportunities for the public to know the types of properties offered and open opportunities for BTN to find out the absorption capacity of the housing market this year,” he said.
