Want to live in Rusunawa Jakarta? These are the requirements

For people who want to live in simple rental flats (rusunawa) in the Jakhabitat program, there are several requirements that must be met.

Jakhabitat is a program of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to integrate housing in Jakarta.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area, Sarjoko, said that in order to live in the Jakhabitat program flats, you must have a DKI Jakarta ID card.

“So the first requirement is that DKI Jakarta residents have an electronic ID card,” said Sarjoko in Jakarta, Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Then, next, the applicant is already married, considering that the rusunawa from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is indeed intended for one family.

“However, for those who are single, the possibility is still open. Those who are not yet married can access the rusunawa bebek. It is specifically available for singles,” said Sarjoko.

The third condition is that you do not have a house to live in. And the last or fourth requirement, the applicant is a community whose income is below the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP).

For the rental per unit of this flat, later per month the tenants will pay a fee of Rp. 765 thousand for the general public. Meanwhile, residents who are programmed or affected by urban planning, until a disaster will only be charged a rental fee of IDR 505,000.

“Programmed residents are residents who are affected by urban planning or disasters, such as Pasar Gembrong, they are temporarily there, because they are prepared to live in their own homes,” he explained.

Even so, the DKI Provincial Government has not collected rent from residents since the COVID-19 pandemic. This is because the DKI Provincial Government has not revoked the Pergub that regulates the relief of regional levies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Currently they are still free because with Pergub 61, with the Covid-19 pandemic, they are given 100 percent relief,” he said.

Previously, Anies inaugurated 33 towers and 7,421 units located in 12 Rusunawa complexes spread across four administrative areas of Jakarta.
