Jeka Saragih Towards Making History at UFC
Indonesian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeka Saragih is so ambitious to be able to appear in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Jeka is ready to fight in the Semifinals of Road To UFC.
The fighter, who won the 2017 MMA One Pride Class 70 kg, is determined to become the first Indonesian MMA fighter to be contracted by the UFC.
The Road to UFC event was held for Asian fighters and competed for contracts from the MMA organization led by Dana White.
The Road to UFC semifinals will take place in Abu Dhabi, along with the UFC 280 event, starring Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev clash in the lightweight title race.
In the semifinals of Road to UFC, Jeka will face fighter from South Korea Ki Won Bin, on October 23 at 18.00 WIB. This Road To UFC semifinal is part of UFC 280.

“I will prove to the Indonesian people that the Indonesian fighter is worthy of a match at the UFC,” he said yesterday.

In order to beat the Korean fighter, Jeka has been training hard by practicing at Studio 540 thanks to being sponsored by Mola.
He was sent to the United States to study at Studio 540 in San Diego for one month. There Jeka was trained intensively by Marc Fiore, the MMA coach of several UFC champions.
Marc Fiore himself stated that he trained Jeka intelligently. Starting from paying attention to the body so that its physical condition is prime. “He continues to train hard. His physique is gradually getting better,” he explained.
