Quartararo Reluctant to Be Pressured to Face Valencia MotoGP
Defending the title he won last year seemed to be a mission impossible for Fabio Quartararo.
Deficit of 23 points from his rival Francesco Bagnaia towards the final series as well as the determination of the Valencia GP this weekend, the Yamaha rider is well aware of his position.
However, he stated that he would not be too depressed by his condition.
To win his second title in MotoGP, Quartararo doesn't just need a win in Valencia. However, Bagnaia had to finish in 15th position or worse.
Meanwhile, Bagnaia only needed to finish 14th to ensure his first title in the premium class.
Hope is still there after the Malaysian MotoGP, Quartararo achieved positive results despite having to struggle with a broken finger.
"We had a great race in Malaysia. I really enjoyed it. It's great to be back on the podium (3rd position)," said Quartararo.
"Winning MotoGP this year will be very difficult. Of course, I will give 100 percent as usual.”
"But I wouldn't be too stressed about the world title race."
"This is the last race of the season. And I want to enjoy it, then end it with a good result."
