Supporting Convenience of Digital Interaction, ISACA Successfully Holds GRACS 2022
SACA Indonesia Chapter successfully held the 2022 Governance, Risk Management, Assurance, and Cyber Security (GRACS) event which was held hybridly at the Ballroom of Sultan Hotel Jakarta and online using the Zoom Webinar application on 12-13 October 2022.
In GRACS, attended by more than 600 participants and presenting more than 20 practitioner speakers from various industries.
Previously, GRACS was held in 2018 at the Hilton Bandung hotel, and in 2020 it was conducted online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Carrying the theme “Digital Trust: Recover with Confidence and Integrity” , GRACS 2022 is presented as part of a joint effort between ISACA Indonesia and all relevant stakeholders to work hand in hand in increasing mutual understanding of the importance of Digital Trust.
GRACS 2022 was opened by Mira Tayyiba (Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics), Maimirza (Deputy for Reporting and Compliance Monitoring of PPATK), Sophia Isabella Wattimena (Chairman of the Audit Board and Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority), David Samuelson (CEO of ISACA) and Syahraki Syahrir (President of ISACA Indonesia Chapter).
“Our digital ecosystem needs support from all parties, be it regulators, industry, and service providers to be able to build this trust together so that we have a good ecosystem that can guarantee convenience for people to transact and interact digitally further. “said Syahraki Syahrir in a statement, Thursday (20/10).
GRACS 2022 was also filled and supported by various speakers such as Indra Utoyo (CEO of Allo Bank), Fabian Wong (Global Managing Partner of Cyclone Robotics), Eddy Then (Regional Director of Diligent), Herfini Haryono (Country Director of TigerGraph Indonesia), Neneng Goenadi (Country Managing Director of GRAB), Betty Purwandari, S.Kom., M.Sc., Ph.D (Coordinator of the Information Technology Masters Study Program at Fasilkom UI), Wahyu Dhyatmika (CEO of Tempo Digital).

It was stated, as a form of collaboration between ISACA Indonesia and other professional organizations, the GRACS 2022 event was also supported by various parties including BSSN, Fordigi, IAIB, Aftech, AISINDO, BPMA, Project Management Institute and ISACA Student Group (ISG).
Also supported by various sponsors from companies that assist in improving the capability of the governance, risk management, assurance and cybersecurity functions, including Diligent, Cyclone Robotics, PLN, Pusilkom UI, BDO, Veda Praxis, Proxsis, Transforma. and TigerGraph.
Harun Al Rasyid as Chair of GRACS 2022 in his closing statement also invited stakeholders to collaborate in supporting the achievement of co-creation of value (creating mutual benefits).
“Each party plays its role in an accountable manner to build a trustworthy digital ecosystem so that the benefits expected by all parties can be achieved,” he said.
With this event, ISACA Indonesia stated that it is ready to contribute to Indonesia to support professionals in the IT GRC and Cybersecurity fields in building awareness and developing competencies needed by the industry.
These competencies are carried out through various competency certification programs and published frameworks that can be used as references in implementing good governance and management in order to realize Digital Trust in Indonesia.
