πŸ“ˆ BBNI: Change President Director, Share Dividends with Yield Indication of 8.8%

Bank Negara Indonesia shareholders have just felt a breath of fresh air, especially on Wednesday, March 26. In the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), they have approved a proposal to replace the board of directors and commissioners of this one bank. Who is in the spotlight? Of course, Putrama Wahju Setyawan officially replaced Royke Tumilaar as President Director. Not only that, Alexandra Askandar was also promoted as the new Deputy President Director, who previously served at Bank Mandiri ($BMRI).

But that’s not all interesting information for shareholders. The AGMS also approved the distribution of dividends for the 2024 financial year which reached around 14 trillion rupiah or approximately 374 rupiah per share. Yes, you read that right! This means that the dividend yield reached 8.8% as of March 26. This figure is encouraging, especially when we compare it to last year.

Impressive Dividend Distribution

What makes this dividend so special? The amount distributed makes up about 65% of the dividend payout ratio, much higher than the 50% that occurred in 2023. It also marks the highest dividend payout ratio in the company’s history. In fact, the previous management only provided guidance in the range of 50-60%. So, how do you feel about this decision? Happy with this good news?

When will dividends be paid?

Indeed, there is still one puzzle that shareholders need to answer: when is the date and the dividend payment date? Meanwhile, all eyes are now on BBNI’s new steps under Putrama’s leadership. Hopefully this step will bring more success and of course, benefits for all parties.

With all these changes and dividend distribution plans, one thing is certain: BBNI continues to be committed to providing added value to its shareholders. And for you investors, be sure to keep an eye on the next developments!
